Seneca Nation Casino

Air Enterprises was selected to provide Energy Efficient Fresh Air Systems with Energy Recovery and Filtration for the latest development.

The Seneca Nation’s (Nation) first venture in the gaming industry began in the 1970s with its very successful bingo halls.  Through Seneca Gaming & Entertainment, an enterprise of the Nation, the Nation still operates two bingo halls, one in Irving on the Cattaraugus Territory and one in Salamanca on the Allegany Territory.

In 2002, the Nation signed a Gaming Compact with the State of New York under the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act to cooperate in the establishment of three “class III gaming” casino facilities, which included slot machines, table games and other amenities and offerings typical of Las Vegas style casinos.   The Nation established the Seneca Gaming Corporation to manage the development and operation of those three casino facilities.

Currently, the Nation owns and operates three casinos: the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel on the Niagara Falls Territory in Niagara Falls, New York; the Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca on the Allegany Territory; and the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in downtown Buffalo on the Buffalo Creek Territory.

Seneca Niagara and Seneca Allegany are Las Vegas-style facilities complete with world-class hotel, restaurant, spa and entertainment offerings. Seneca Buffalo Creek is currently operated as a slots-only casino.  In March 2012, following extensive collaboration with local officials, community leaders and stakeholders, the Nation unveiled plans for a redesigned $130 million property at the 9.5 acre urban site.  Once completed in summer 2013, the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino will include table games, and a small bar/restaurant facility.  Through the collaborative process, the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino was designed to complement nearby waterfront development plans and neighborhood growth.
